Day 7 - Overseer of Souls

For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Prayer

Loving Guardian and Overseer of my soul, You watch my every move. You are responsible for my care, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You are invested in my well-being. Forces that threaten to overtake and subdue me concern You. You stand in my defense to protect me and guide me away from danger. Before I knew You, I fought for my right to flee from You. I perpetually ran from You and Your desire to care for me. Father, captivate me with Your love and help me surrender to You as the Overseer of my soul. Strip me of my propensity to flee. For Your Glory, Amen.
