Day 3 - Generous

Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
James 1:17

Prayer

Father in Heaven, I acknowledge You as the Giver of every good thing in my life. There are times when I am tempted to think that what I have or what I have accomplished is my doing—my intelligence, my work ethic, my merit—that your generosity and grace are not in the equation. Father, break me of this tendency. Let me see You alone as the reason for good coming my way. Teach me, refine me, heal me, bless me so that I can be a vessel that carries your good and perfect gifts to others. In the Power of Jesus’ Name, Amen.
