Changes in Children's Ministry

What?

We are in a crazy time of unknowns, and attendance in children’s ministry has been low since we began meeting again in the MidTowne building, following a summer of meeting in the park. Rock Zone will be staffed during both the 8:30 and 10:30 services, but Pebble Zone will only be staffed during the 8:30 service. However, the Rock Zone room will accommodate infants through 5th graders during second service, while attendance stays low.

When?

This change will begin taking place on Sunday, November 15. An end date has not yet been determined, and will be determined based on attendance. I am confident that there will be a day when we will have THREE classrooms bustling with kiddos, and many new volunteers who are eager to serve!

Who does this affect?

This change affects families who bring their kids to kids’ programming during second service at the MidTowne Building. It also affects those who volunteer in children’s ministry, as our volunteers will mostly be needed to serve during first service. The Mill’s Children’s Director, Jocelyn Cavadini, will be the primary teacher during second service each week.

What about first service?

Both Pebble Zone and Rock Zone will continue to be open and fully staffed during first service.
