Life Group Outreach Night Celebration

The Mill Church offered 6 Life Groups this fall in Stratford, Marshfield, Athens, and Edgar. In addition to studying the Book of Ruth, each Life Group also hosted an Outreach Night, in which members intentionally served and loved the people of their local communities. Here were some of the Life Group Outreach Night projects: 

  • Made and delivered a meal to the Marshfield Police Department, thanking them for their service to the community

  • Hosted a photo shoot for the family of an Edgar Middle School student whose mom is absent from her life and whose father just had surgery for cancer; the Life Group members used the pictures to create photo albums for each family member

  • Created snack boxes and wrote thank you notes for the Stratford Police Department and Stratford Area Fire Department

  • Served a dinner and made desserts at St. Vincent's for the poor and needy in the Marshfield area

  • Purchased winter coats and boots for Edgar High School students in need

  • In the process of donating items to the Caring Cupboard at the Stratford School District for students in need of non-perishable food items on the weekend and clothing items
