Missions Moment: Fierce Freedom

We are excited to have Cat Morgan share about the ministry Fierce Freedom as our Missions Moment this Sunday, February 27th!

About Their Ministry

We at Fierce Freedom work to end the cycle of human trafficking and exploitation through educational programming that empowers communities and speaks to the worth and dignity of each individual.

In 2021, Fierce Freedom reached 8,740 people to educate about human trafficking and exploitation through podcasts, speaking engagements, and videos. Our awareness and training events have reached 25 counties and 23 school districts in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Last year we also launched Worth It, our live multimedia presentation for teenagers addresses the problem and prevention of human trafficking and exploitation in our schools and communities, reaching several area schools.

When schools participate in Worth It, parents and caretakers in that school have one-year free access to Fierce Parenting, a video series consisting of 52 short educational videos, giving families tools needed to support and protect students at school and at home. This can also be purchased as a standalone course.

This year we also hope to educate more community members through The Justice Race in Eau Claire on July 20th at Carson Park - we hope to see you there!

Prayer Requests

  • Continued awareness to be spread in our state's legislation - for laws put in place that protect victims and prosecute buyers/traffickers.

  • To dismantle the hold pornography has and its destructive power over families. To protect children from accidentally accessing it, to hold sites which don't protect youth accountable.

  • For the message of dignity and value to speak into the hearts of everyone in the trafficking triangle: victims, buyers, and traffickers.
