What is Anxiety, Really?

A free, 45-minute class on how to recognize anxiety + tools to start the healing process. This class breaks down the topic of anxiety into practical information that can help you identify how anxiety shows up in daily life. We’ll talk about the brain science behind anxious feelings, and how to gauge our levels of anxiety, which will help us determine the practical steps we can take to manage it.

Class outline:

  • Some ways to define anxiety

  • How to identify anxiety in your body

  • What causes anxiety?

  • How anxious am I, really?

  • Step 1 – where to begin

  • Step 2 – what next?

You’ll walk away from this class with a better understanding of what anxiety is and what to do about it. We’ll talk about how faith intersects with anxiety and how adding mental and physical aspects to our spiritual practices can help us heal. We’ll also take home two hands-on practices to use when anxiety spikes.

RSVP is appreciated but not required.
