Who
Kids of all ages are more than welcome to participate, but this event is geared toward kids in 3rd-5th grades. Younger kids would benefit, but parental guidance would likely be needed.
What
Kids will be asked a series of 10 questions, and compete to find answers quickly and correctly, based on Biblical knowledge and referencing Scripture.
Where
Participate from the comfort of your home! This competition is held virtually.
When
Bible Trivia will be held on the first Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 PM. It will end by 7:30 PM.
Requirements
In order to participate, each family needs internet service and two devices (e.g., smart phone, iPad, lap top); one is for Zoom or Google Meet, the other for answering questions. Children in family units may participate individually or on a team with siblings; if children participate individually, they need their own secondary devices (e.g., if Steve and John, who are brothers, will be participating individually, they may join the meeting on a shared device, but will each need their own devices to answer questions). A Bible, either hard copy or digital, is HIGHLY encouraged.
Optional- Submit a trivia question
Email Jocelyn by clicking the “contact Jocelyn” button below to submit a trivia question that may be used for the next Bible Trivia! You MUST include a Bible reference (e.g., John 10:10) so that the answer to your question may be found by looking up the answer. Jocelyn has the right to choose which questions will be selected and to edit questions.
How
Register below. This will put you on an email distribution list to receive an email invite for a virtual meeting prior to 6:30 PM on the day of the event. Once you are on this list, you will receive the Zoom invitation each month, but you are not obligated to participate each time. Instructions will be provided during the meeting to join the competition at Kahoot.it. Kids will be given 4 minutes to answer each of the 10 questions; Bible references will be provided for most questions.
