Details
At The Mill Church Edgar, we want to connect with the community of Edgar with the hopes of connecting them with Jesus. Part of connecting is going where the people are. Anyone who's lived in Edgar for any length of time knows that, during the last weekend in August, the people of Edgar are at the Edgar Steam Show, so this year, The Mill Church Edgar will be, too!
The Mill is NOT going to have our regular worship service at the Edgar school auditorium on Sunday, August 25. Instead, we are encouraging all of our church attenders to worship at the Steam Show at 9am. Jeff Tarras, who attends The Mill Church and has been a long-time Christian leader in the Edgar community, will be giving the sermon.
We want this to be a Sunday morning in which our church family is given time and space to relax and connect -- connect with God, connect with our church family, and connect with the people of Edgar.
If you're interested, there's also a pancake breakfast at 7:30am before the church service. We would love to have a lot of Mill Church people there, enjoying a meal together before church gets started.
Cost
To make sure money isn't an issue for any of our church family to attend worship, The Mill would like to cover the cost of the Edgar location church attenders' Steam Show tickets on Sunday morning. The Steam Show Board of Directors has advised us to have all church members pay for their own tickets at the front entrance on Sunday mornings and then give their ticket stubs to Pastor Josh, who will then reimburse everyone in the following weeks. Initial admission cost to get in is $10/adult; kids 12 and under are free.
Hope to see you at the Steam Show on Sunday, August 25!
