  • Edgar Cafeteria 203 E. Birch Street Edgar, WI . 54426 (map)

Details

"Power of attorney? What's that?" If you found yourself asking yourself these questions, you're not alone!

Patty Koepke, attender of The Mill Church Edgar, is the Residence Director for The Homeplace of Dorchester, an assisted living community providing memory care for the frail elderly and individuals with dementia. Every year, Patty witnesses the sad fallout when her residents fail to identify their Power of Attorney when they are still in good health and sound mind. Her line of work has made her a passionate educator about Power of Attorney, a document that legally allows the person of your choosing to make important health care and financial decisions if/when you are unable to do so. Come and learn more about this important life decision from Patty and get the documentation you need to identify your Power of Attorney.

"When do we eat?" If this was also a question you found yourself asking, look no further! We will enjoy a warm soup lunch immediately after church in the cafeteria. Bring along your favorite soup in a crockpot and either a side item or dessert to share.
