The practice of baptism symbolizes the death and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus. It also illustrates us dying to our sins and beginning again. Indeed, 'the old has gone, the new has come." The act of baptism is, then, like a billboard that communicates both a story of Christ's work and the cry of a redeemed heart: "I'm on team Jesus."
