Marshfield area children have an opportunity to have a ball learning about positive principles through an outreach event called MEGA Sports Camp.  The sports camp is a new approach to summer vacation bible camp. “We want to give kids the chance to learn more about sports, discover character-building concepts, and have a whole lot of fun,” says Camp Director Eddie Antoniewicz.

As North Ridge Church’s fourth year hosting this event, kids in grades kindergarten through 6thgrade are invited to participate in a free sports camp held Sunday, June 26th  - Thursday, June 30th from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at North Ridge Church.  Combining the love of sports and encouragement is the core of this program.  Children from any background, skill level or local church are invited to attend this free event. 

At MEGA Sports Camp EPIC MOMENTS, kids can choose between Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Yard Games or Cheerleading. It doesn’t matter if they’ve played all their life or just started yesterday, MEGA Sports Camp helps kids improve their skills and self-esteem.

Between Sports Sessions, coaches help kids experience inspiring sports and Bible stories to help character-building themes take hold in kids’ hearts. And most importantly, kids will discover God’s great love for them.

But that’s not all. Kids will also enjoy fun sports training, snacks, upbeat rallies filled with energetic music, and Bible stories that will help them discover character traits that can help them excel in sports and in life.
