Join us at the Burris' home as we have our annual water baptism! This year we will be doing a BYOP, bring your own picnic. So pull out the picnic blanket or chairs, fill a picnic basket with a tasty lunch and ice cold drinks for you and your family and enjoy an afternoon by the Burris pond! We will have a time of fellowship after the baptism, with root beer floats and lawn games. It will be a great afternoon!
The practice of baptism symbolizes the death and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus. It also illustrates us dying to our sins and beginning again. Indeed, 'the old has gone, the new has come." The act of baptism is, then, like a billboard that communicates both a story of Christ's work and the cry of a redeemed heart: "I'm on team Jesus." Read more about baptism.
In case of inclement weather we will reschedule with a smaller baptism event with baptism participants and families only.

Google maps does not work with the Burris' address. Take Hwy 97 North of Stratford to County Road P. Turn left/West onto County Road P. The Burris home will be on the left.
