Sunday Teaching

Statistically, your grandparents are likely to have attended church more often than your parents, who attend more often than you. We seek to challenge the present-day definition of "faithfulness" in regards to church attendance. Each Sunday, we gather to learn from and be challenged by the Bible. Across both locations, Lead Pastor Zach Burris and other capable elders and guest presenters bring an inspiring teaching, in person. While we will occasionally teach topically, The Mill believes in the power of expository teaching wherein we exposit, or expound upon, the text in a verse-by-verse fashion. Preaching happens during our normal service times at both of our locations.

Sunday Worship

Worship literally means "worth-ship." Everything we do on Sunday morningsthe preaching, singing, giving, sharing in communiondeclares this: "God, you are our top priority. You matter to us. You are our treasure, our joy, and worth our time. We are not inconvenienced by You. We love you."

Jesus Loves the Little Children, a popular kids song, carries a ton of truth in just a few simple words. Jesus wasn't perturbed by kids. Rather, He loved them and cared for them! For this reason, we offer age-appropriate, Biblical programming led by qualified, passionate, background-checked volunteers for infants thru 5th graders each Sunday morning. We also have a number of events for children throughout the year, such as Vacation Bible School, Kids Summer Camp @ Spencer Lake in Waupaca, WI, and other fun outings. We believe that children are our very best investment and have hired competent staff to reflect this core value!

The basis for this ministry can be found in 1 Peter 4:10.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms

The Mill Church has been blessed with members and attendees with a variety of gifts and skill-sets. We have teamed together to form 4:10 Ministries and use these skills to serve others (single parents, the elderly, widows, & lower-income earning families). If you or someone you know is in need of a helping hand, we can be that hand!
