Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan.

Prayer

Father God, I am thankful that You choosing me has nothing to do with me and everything to do with You. If it were dependent on me, I could mess things up. I am brought to my knees—humbled that You choose to use me. You have deliberately planned to provide for me for eternity. You have stored up blessings and riches for me to draw from. Nothing I can do, or anyone else can do, can steal what You have set aside specifically for me. Thank You! In Jesus name, Amen.
