August Gospel Challenge -- Serving the Elderly

For this month's Gospel Challenge, we will be loving and serving the elderly in our local communities. There are 2 ways you can get involved.

Elderly Apartment Activity Baskets

For the remainder of August, we'll be collecting items to put into free activity baskets for some of Edgar's elderly apartment residents. We are looking for puzzles, games, books, magazines, adult coloring pages, art supplies, journals, etc. All items can be brought to church on Sundays and dropped off in the blue tote by the coffee and offering box.

Elderly Worship Afternoon

The Mill Church Edgar's worship team has started doing bi-weekly worship afternoons at Marathon's Copperleaf Assisted Living just east of the McDonald's and Subway. Even if you don't have any musical talent, we'd love to have you join our next Elderly Worship Afternoon on Friday, August 27 @ 2pm. All are welcome!
