Spring Life Groups

Life Groups meet every fall and spring in a church family's home for 2 hours each week. We study the Bible, pray for one another, and get to know each other better through fun games, activities, and "Community Nights" of board games, bowling, bonfires, and more. We also seek to have an impact in our local community by doing an "Outreach Night" each semester in which we serve various community groups - food pantries, women's shelters, nursing homes, etc. In all things, we seek to grow in our love & knowledge of God and others!

This spring semester, we will dive into "Persecuted," a study of the worldwide persecuted church. In addition to doing a film study of Voice of the Martyrs' Tortured for Christ movie, we will explore weekly themes to help apply lessons from the Bible as well as examples from Christian martyrs & prisoners to our daily lives.

Every Life Group, we'll have a "Persecution Spotlight" -- a chance to learn about a modern-day country in which Christians are persecuted, imprisoned, tortured, or even killed for their faith. We will take on a weekly action step to help our persecuted church family around the world -- writing letters to imprisoned pastors, praying for missionaries who serve in restricted countries, etc.

Everyone is welcome to attend Life Groups! Check out The Mill Church's Planning Center Groups page for more details and to find a Life Group near you!

Dates

Spring Life Groups start the week of February 17 and end the week of April 27.
