Ministry Updates
Because leadership development and evangelism are huge values for InterVarsity, I spent five weeks this winter training current and new leaders about the "five thresholds", a process that many students go through in their journey to faith. Through this training, students learned how to share their testimony, how to explain the gospel using a gospel diagram, how to lead their friends in an evangelistic Bible study, and more. Recently, many of these same students participated heavily in ReviveWISCONSIN, and at least one of them had the opportunity to lead someone to the Lord! The group’s passion for outreach has never been greater.
Prayer Requests
- To see fruit from our emphasis on evangelism this semester, even as we head into the summer.
- God would work powerfully through Chapter Focus Week, our annual chapter camp happening May 19-25.
- Students would draw closer to God, that He would equip them for further ministry on campus, and deepen the sense of community among the chapter.
