About Her Ministry

Chi Alpha is a global, discipleship movement. Aimed to engage and reach university students, we want to see the lives of students transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As the lives of students are transformed, we see them carry the torch of responsibility to take the good news of the Gospel to all Nations. Through Chi Alpha, we believe in reconciling students to Christ, so that Jesus change the university, the marketplace, and the world.

Ministry updates

Over the last three years we have seen lives changed! Many students have given their lives to Jesus, have been water baptized, and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Through one on one discipleship, we've grown from two small groups to five this coming fall. We've participated in missions trips, both state-side and internationally. We've hosted outreaches including providing a Thanksgiving feast to over 45 International students and a Pub Crawl outreach in which we passed out over 550 hotdogs. Jesus continues to move in incredible ways during our weekly small groups and our large group gathering. It's hard to believe so much has happened, and yet, this is only the beginning of what we believe God wants to accomplish at UW-Oshkosh.

Prayer Requests

• Leadership Retreat in August. This is a time for our student leaders and staff to gather together after a long summer of being apart. It's a time of teaching, training, and fun. Pray that this is a powerful time for us to encounter Christ as a team.

• Fall Kickoff! Welcome week is right around the corner! Please be praying for our campus and our staff as we continue to prepare for the thousands of incoming freshman this fall.
